At Braver Strides, we believe sustainability starts small—but sticks when it’s personal. This session shows how everyday waste like coffee grounds can be rescued and repurposed into something completely new.
Here’s what happen:
- Learn about coffee waste in the F&B industry and its environmental impact

- Guided DIY session: turn discarded coffee grounds into a ready-to-use body scrub
- Customize your blend with simple add-ons (sugar, oils, citrus, etc.)
- Walk away with your own scrub jar—made by your hands, from waste
LEARNING OUTCOME OF THIS ORANGE PEEL WORKSHOP
By the end of this session, participants will:
- Understand how upcycling reduces waste and supports environmental goals
- Learn how to create natural products using rescued materials
- Gain insight into sustainable sourcing and circular thinking
- Connect daily habits (like coffee!) with eco-conscious action
- Leave with a usable product and a tangible memory of change
