In Lions & Dragons, your team will dive into a celebration of tradition, teamwork, and rhythm. Each group constructs their own lion or dragon costume using vibrant materials, then learns how to bring it to life through a coordinated team performance.

This isn’t just a dance—it’s full-body storytelling. With roles like head, tail, drummers, and dancers, every member is part of the movement. It’s cultural creativity, physical coordination, and high-energy fun that turns your team into a roaring, dancing force.

Created by Braver Strides, this workshop is perfect for teams that want to move, build, and bond in one unforgettable experience.

HOW IT WORKS

🎨 Design Your Creature
Each team chooses to build a lion or dragon, then designs it using fabric, paint, and craft materials—bringing colour and character to every piece.

🧵 Build Together
From head to tail, teams work on assembling the structure, coordinating size, movement, and flexibility for the big performance.

🥁 Learn the Rhythm
With guidance, teams learn basic lion/dragon dance movements—and how to sync those moves with live drumming and group energy.

🕺 Rehearse & Refine
It’s showtime practice! Teams rehearse their routines, assigning roles, building confidence, and refining coordination.

🔥 Perform in the Dance-Off
Each team hits the “stage” to perform their creation in a high-energy showdown—judged on creativity, teamwork, rhythm, and sheer roar power.
