WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

🧪 Learning the science behind real soap making
Understand the difference between hot and cold process methods, including how oils, lye, and heat interact to create soap from scratch.

🥣 Mixing your soap base
Carefully measure and combine natural oils with a lye solution, then blend to reach that perfect creamy texture (aka “trace”).

🌿 Customizing your soap recipe
Choose essential oils, herbs, clays, natural colorants, or exfoliants to give your bar a scent and texture that’s totally you.

🧼 Pouring into molds and shaping your soap
Pour the mixture into molds, swirl your design (if you’re feeling fancy), and prep it for curing or cooking—depending on the method used.

🎁 Wrapping it up with care
For cold process: you’ll take your molded soap home to cure. For hot process: it’s ready to use (or gift!) the same day.
